I am incredibly grateful for this scholarship. This scholarship has truly given me the opportunity to focus more on school and less on my financial needs. I have certainly enjoyed this reduced stress, and I show this by attending events hosted on campus, such as the Student Organization Showcase and RecFest. I also appreciate the variety of clubs and campus life here at this university; it is wonderful to have so many opportunities outside of class. As for academics, I was able to afford my textbooks for my chemistry, biology, and bioinformatics classes, allowing me to focus on my studies.
